Affirmation Reflections: I find ways to get back on track.

Affirmation: I find ways to get back on track.

Distractions are a part of life, but I always find ways to get back on track. It is important to me to maintain focus on the impact of my decision to keep moving forward.

My choices have an impact beyond my own life. I am conscious of the effect of those choices on the lives of those around me. Living well means living for others as much as myself. This influences my choice to persevere.

Chaos and uncertainty sometimes throw me off track. The distractions take my focus away from the mission at hand.

Although it is sometimes difficult to regroup and resume my journey, I know that I am able. Keeping my eyes on what is at the end of the road restores my perseverance. I discover my resilience whenever I refocus on what is ahead of me.

Exercise clears my mind of things that eat away at my attention. It restores positive energy and gives me the will to achieve greatness.

When I go for a run, I think a lot. My mind naturally shifts to thoughts of achievement as I put one foot in front of the other. One form of progress inspires me to recommit to others. It is the natural response to tasting victory along the way.

Today, each setback makes way for renewed will to get up and get going again. The word quit is an inactive part of my vocabulary. Even when I stumble or run off track, I know that I have what it takes to resume stronger and better than before.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. Which techniques work best for motivating myself to keep going?
  2. How many of my successes come from my will to persevere?
  3. How regularly do I share my stories of determination with others?
